I have a small room (9x12) and this A/C unit cools it perfectly. Not at all noisy, either. I set it to low speed and at 74 degrees (I never use any of the auto or power saver features. They tend to be obnoxious noise makers, for me. So I can't tell you what that is like on this unit.) Installation is typical, so it was quick and painless. TIP: Have some clear insulation around for the side levers, as these things never insulate well. I, also, have the wide foam insulation strips for any open spots at the top and bottom. I am real picky how these things are installed because my money is tight. If you have questions about the product, the enclosed materials explain things quite well. Also, remember to register it, too, as with any electronic appliance. You never know if they get recalled or it may need repairing.All in all...I am very satisfied with this product! :)
