I have been using this product for almost two years. They seem to filter well. I am not sure if this is recommended by the manufacture but I have been cleaning my filters with 409 all purpose cleaner and water. They take along time to dry after cleaning. The disposable filters had a friction fit and would seal in the air return vent pretty well. The Boair filters are heavier and ridged so they require some weather striping to help seal them in the return air vent. Especially if your air returns are in the ceiling like mine. Overall I am pretty happy with my Boair filter.
